Making A Difference

Our founders uniquely positioned Christian Associates as what can best be described as a modern day Foundation in an era when few existed. In the founding principle of Christian Associates, “provide fundraising assistance to area charitable organizations”, our founders were telling us, this is the cornerstone of the ministry. This is who we are and what we do. Christian Associates was designed to help other nonprofits so they could better meet the ever changing needs of our community.

To meet that founding principle, Christian Associates is uniquely positioned to provide area nonprofits with grassroots fundraising advice and direct funding. Much like a consultant, Christian Associates staff can provide solutions that will make a difference in the lives of nonprofits and those they serve.

The second guiding principle, and probably next in the line of importance is “performing services for distribution to the poor, distressed or under privileged”. Christian Associates seeks out opportunities this reach out into the communities we serve, especially the most rural areas of Stone and Christian Counties in Missouri. Meeting and relieving insecurities for hundreds of families each year enables us to meet this guiding principle of our organization. This provision has been accomplished by providing financial grants and grants of equipment to the following agencies;

In addressing our final founding principle, “generally provide for the advancement of religion and the principles and teachings of Christ”, One must consider this is the primary mission of every church, Christian school and many nonprofit organizations that can be found in every community.

For us to effectively create and maintain a program focused solely on this guiding principle would be a major duplication of services and a waist of precious funding. Instead, our board decided that we should “live” this principle in everything we do as an organization.

Building Hope, Creating Impact, Meeting Emerging Needs.
