Apply For A Grant

Getting Started

Christian Associates supports work directly related to our philanthropic priorities. For some programs, we invite proposals by directly contacting organizations. For others, we publish requests for proposals (RFPs), accept concept notes or have an open application process.

What We Look For

We support initiatives that:

  • Serve the community: Programs designed with the people they aim to help at the center.
  • Create lasting impact: Projects that improve quality of life and drive meaningful change.
  • Measure success: Using data, feedback, and clear outcomes to guide decisions.
  • Collaborate across sectors: Leveraging resources and partnerships for greater impact.
  • Show strong leadership: Led by committed and capable teams.

In short, we fund efforts that are intentional, sustainable, and accountable – projects that align with our vision, mission, values, donor intent, and strategic priorities.

Familiarize yourself with our priorities, where we fund and what we don’t fund.

Register in our grants management system.

Submit a letter of inquiry (LOI) through the grants management system. LOIs should briefly describe your funding request to give us a high-level understanding of your work. Once you submit your LOI, you’ll hear back from us within 30 business days via email with next steps. At this time, we either encourage a more formal proposal or decline.

After we receive your formal proposal, we take 60 business days to review. If needed, we’ll work with you to refine your proposal, then make the final funding decision.
